NSSRC extends a thank you to the North Star Ski Touring Club for a grant to further develop our youth programs and special events. The grant allowed us to purchase dryland training equipment and ski equipment for our high school youth programs as well as purchase course markers and other items for hosting special events. The club has also received generous grant support from several organizations in recent years to support capital equipment, program expenses and equipment and trail repair. Grantors include IRRR, Lloyd K Johnson Foundation, Legacy Foundation, Arrowhead Coop.
Finally the club has a longstanding and excellent working partnership with the US Forest Service and Minnesota DNR for maintenance of the Pincushion trails.
