- Description: Join us for a fun mid-winter celebration over President’s Day Weekend. We’ll have all sorts of ski race options, including a challenging 25 kilometer classic-only event, a 10 kilometer event for either skate or classic skiers, several shorter events for the kiddos and even a couple of skijoring races for our four-legged friends. On the following day we’ll host our Annual Women’s Ski at Pincushion
- When: Races will take place on Sunday, February 18. The Annual Women’s Ski will be on Monday, February 19.
- Registration: Registration for the races will be posted shortly, along with more information about the start times, etc.

Fish Pic Race
- Description: The Fisherman’s Picnic Race at Pincushion is a long tradition and a wonderful family-friendly way to kick off the festive Fisherman’s Picnic Weekend in Grand Marais. The events include a challenging 5-mile trail run or race-walk, a 3 mile (5k) run or walk and several shorter races for young kids. All registered participants receive a t-shirt and there are prizes for race winners and top category finishers.
- When: The race takes place on the Saturday morning of Fisherman’s Picnic Weekend, which will be August 3, 2024.
- Where: Start and finish will be in front of the chalet in the stadium area at Pincushion.
- Registration: On-line registration will be posted several weeks before the event, along with more detailed information about event times and prizes.
