Pincushion Fall Gathering Potluck Party!!

This has become a really fun annual event.   This years party takes place Sunday, Nov. 8.  All are welcome to attend!  No need to be a club member

Schedule of Events: (All Events take place at the Pincushion Chalet)

  • 4:30 – Short walk around the Pincushion Trails
  • 5:00 to 5:30 – Social gathering
  • 5:30 – ??  Potluck Party!!

The Pincushion Ski and Run Club will provide tea, coffee, and soft drinks.  BYOB if you would like to have anything stronger!!  Please bring a dish to pass for the dinner

Dear friends of Pincushion it’s time to renew your membership or sponsorship of the Pincushion Ski and Run Club. This is also a time for new members and sponsors to join.  Your contributions help the Pincushion Ski and Run Club maintain the trails, support youth programming, host special events and provide year-round fun on the trails. A significant amount of equipment is required to maintain the system. Volunteers brush the trails, clear downed trees, remove rocks and work on refining the trails. Our Pisten Bully grooming results in premium ski surfaces for classic and skate skiing. In the summer the trails are mowed for the enjoyment of hikers and runners. We have received an abundance of positive feedback from ski clinic surveys, Skinnyski reports and anecdotal reports. Comments reflect that the grooming was superb last ski season and that skiers traveled to Grand Marais because of our abundant snow and a great ski system.

 

 

 

 

On behalf of the High School Cross Country Ski Team, I am excited to announce that it’s time for our annual wreath fundraiser. The wreaths and garland are beautiful – a perfect way to kick off the holiday season and a perfect way to support the team!!

Each year our team sells locally farmer-made holiday wreaths, swag & garland. This is a critical fundraiser for our team as the proceeds allow us to purchase & repair ski equipment for the team, help with Ski Camp expenses and  buy snacks for our hungry skiers! Our team approach is to ensure that everyone is able to participate (equipment or costs should not be a barrier).
